A Gift To Life

Something from you,
Something from me,
Not for us,
But just for life.

Forget me not,
At the back,
Not for life,
But just for us.

EXPLANATION: This poem is about to friends or lovers, if you may. The first paragraph is about both of them giving a part of them to life for giving them each other. The second paragraph is a request they make to each other to not forget them, but this act is not for life, but just for each other. The last paragraph can also be interpreted as the forget-me-not flowers they have at the back of their house.
